This Moda sampler quilt is stunning and big - the finished quilt measures 81" x 99" with blocks ranging from 9" square to 36" square and uses ten metres of fabric! It is designed to be used with solid colours - or in our case with Rubystar speckleds making the quilt the perfect way to play with colour in your quilt!

Image one shows the quilt blocks in the range of Rubystar Speckled fabrics we've chosen and Image two shows all the different blocks and the depth of variation possible depending on what colourway you choose.

There are three options to this block of the month quilt - an eleven month postal BOM or a monthly group running over twelve months using the Rubystar speckled fabrics used in our quilt or attending the monthly group but using your own fabrics.

Option one: Postal BOM.

This is a fun way to join in with a block-of-the-month quilt if you are unable to get to ZigZags to join in in person. You will need to pay a deposit of £60 to reserve your space and then will be sent an invoice for £20 towards the end of each month and your 'box' of fabrics and pattern will be dispatched to you after payment is received.

Option two: block of the month group plus fabrics

This block of the month group will be running over twelve months on the second Saturday of the month starting on October 12th 10am-1pm. Subsequent dates are 9/11, 14/12, 11/1, 8/2, 8/3, 12/4, 10/5, 14/6, 12/7, 9/8 and 12/9.

You will need to pay a deposit of £60 to reserve your place and then £40 per month after that which includes the workshop and all fabrics required for that month.

Option three: block of the month group without fabrics

You will need to pay a deposit of £60 to reserve your place and then £25 per month after that. You will also need 10 metres in total of 10 different fabrics - detailed requirements for total metreage will be sent out before the first workshop or alternatively they can be given to you on a block by block basis.
